Meet Dr. Jake Stotts, DPT

My first job, besides having a paper route, was working with Handicap adults in Clear Lake, Iowa. I enjoyed being very hands-on with the clients and getting them ready for their day. I initially was set towards Athletic Training when I went to college and still enjoy working with local sports teams. The first game I covered was in 1999 and have enjoyed it ever since. Working with sports along with my kids goes hand in hand with coaching. I was fortunate to have a father that was coaching varsity basketball and that allowed me to attend many coaching conferences. I was allowed to coach my first team in 1996 and I have been doing it ever since. Deciding to go to Physical Therapy school was something I felt I was led to after working as a personal trainer and exercise physiologist at a club in West Des Moines and Physical Therapy clinic in Ankeny. 

I have been blessed with four beautiful children, three boys and a girl. Besides the walk in my faith, they are the greatest joy to my life. They are the best of me and I am so grateful for them each day.
